CS Graduate Student Seminar

Tuesdays, 4-5 pm, E2 Room #399

Come join us for a series of informal presentations given by graduate students and post-docs. Speakers will present talks on subjects of general interest to the computer science community, including recent research results, interesting papers, and surveys of emerging hot topics. The atmosphere will be relaxed and informal, with questions allowed throughout the talk. Faculty are allowed to attend talks, but must promise not to ask hard questions.

The goals of this seminar are to give graduate students more opportunities to practice public speaking, encourage a collegial environment for the free exchange of ideas, and to foster interaction between the various computer science labs.
